Hi Guys

I couldn't possibly let this opportunity pass to praise you to the skies!

It was one of the best things I ever did to make my initial enquiry when I started to look for a home organ. Not only did I find a fabulous Koralia, then a Toccata III, and soon I'll be taking delivery of a groovy WpX rebuild of a DS80 with all the trimmings - not only all of that, but I met some great new friends! I'm really looking forward to coming to the new showroom to celebrate with Annette and a box of cream cakes when the DS80 nears completion! I am thrilled and delighted with my Toccata III, I was highly delighted with my Koralia which must be the best value for money ANYWHERE, and I can hardly wait for the "new" DS80.

As ever

Paul

I have bought two organs from you and Graham, over the past seven years both with the WpX technology. The first was an Exeter rebuild which I have just replaced with a ST rebuild based on the C220.

I have been delighted with both instruments. Before I bought the Exeter seven years ago I tested the rival products from most of the other manufactures and there was simply no comparison. The quality of the Wyvern WpX sound is exceptional, and with the new instrument I now have even more tonal variety. But just as importantly I have been highly appreciative of the after-sales service and care that Arthur Lord / Wyvern have extended to me over the years. It simply could not have been faulted.

Taking these two factors together (the superb realism / sound quality plus the level of old-fashioned customer care) it never occurred to me to consider any other company when I wanted to upgrade from the Exeter.

(Incidentally, to anyone reading this, my old Exeter which I part exchanged with Paul and Graham is now for sale at Wyvern and while it has a relatively small stop list it does have great character and charm. I woudl liken it to the sort of (good) two manual organ you woudl find in a reasonably large Parish Church in an old Engliush Market Town. I can reccomend it!)

I've just been alerted to your feedback page and am delighted to say how pleased I've been with the Mk IV Sonata I purchased in December 2006. I decided rather late in life (56!) to learn to play the organ and I felt I'd only have a chance of achieving this if I had my own practice instrument. The Sonata has exceeded all my expectations for sound quality, comfort and appearance and it's compact enough to suit a smallish room as well.

Thank you and very best wishes

Having not visited your website for some time, I was unaware that you had created a facility for customer feedback, but I am very pleased to avail myself of it to tell you how delighted I am with the Toccata 1 which I purchased from you last September. It would be difficult to imagine such tonal quality being surpassed on a standard specification organ in this price range. The "Octave" and "Sub Octave" features, in particular, provide a remarkably realistic tone to the Swell ensemble, but every feature of this organ is inspirational and testimony to Wyvern's superb craftsmanship. I am as enchanted with my instrument as I was on the day you delivered it to my home and anticipate remaining so for many years to come.

Best wishes to you all, and keep up the good work!

Hi Paul,

Just a thank you e-mail for the prompt and courteous attention we received at St. Martin's, Barton, Torquay to rectify the capture system problems. David (an associate of Royston) attended and gave us great service and all has been well since the visit. We also moved the console to the other side of the gallery so the player is not quite so on top of the sound.

It's now 11 years since the C220 was installed in St. Martins (can you believe it ?) and it has been a truly wonderful instrument for the Parish. I was involved in the selection process when I acted as an advisor from Plymouth Cathedral and I have been playing it week-by-week since July 1999 myself. During that time there have only been two faults including this latest one, the other being that it needed a new Swell Pedal a couple of years back. It admirably supported a very full church and a choir of 40 when we had the Archbishop of Canterbury with us for a mass last year,

My best wishes to you and all the team at Wyvern. I hope to visit your new showrooms before too long.

Best wishes
Robert Osmond

I would just like to let you know how pleased I am with my new (2nd hand 3yr old) Sonata. It is everything I hoped it would be! Many thanks for making the whole process of buying it so pleasurable and unpressured. You may like to know that I came to Wyverns not only because I was already very familiar with a Wyvern organ, but also because you are so upfront about your prices!

A Happy New Year to all at Wyvern - may 2008 be a successful one for all in Fernhurst and the wider Wyvern family.

I have now been a customer of Wyvern organs since the mid 80's, when we purchased our first Sonata. That was a thrill in itself. Wyvern organs are a bit like boats - when you have sailed one you want a bigger one!

The company have always been extremely efficient and generous when it has been necessary to use a larger intrument in a larger venue. Not only has the instrument arrived, usually with Nick at the helm, but Paul and Graham were never far away when it came to the highly skilled setting up and voicing.

Imagine the excitment in St Thomas a'Becket, Pagham, when the 4 manual Concerto arrived for the Christmas Concert 2007. Wyvern kindly once again facilitated the arrival, the result now being my near ordering of a custom 'adjusted' 4 manual Concerto. The organ was played by two leading Cathedral organists, and the feedback was quite stunning.

There aren't many 4 manual instruments that can be moved around like this - let alone provide the quality of sound compatible with a cathedral organ.

Thank you to all the team, especially Paul, for the advice and kindness I have received from the same people over a period of 20 years. Almost unheard of in this day and age...

Hi Paul,

Your swift response and comprehensive advice worked a treat! All is now well with my B282 Wyvern. Many, many thanks.

At 88 years of age I am delighted with the Wyvern Sonata in my home, though I do sometimes feel the need for a third manual. The sound of the full organ is wonderful, but there is also plenty of scope for soft playing before I reach the climax of my Rheinberger sonata. One drawback of the manual layout may be my own fault, but is disconcerting. If my fingers stick up a little while playing a rapid passage on the great, it is possible to make contact with one of the Swell pistons inadvertently. The one I always hit happens to be "Cancel", and my recital comes to an abrupt end when I next transfer to the Swell! I wonder if it is possible to disable this piston without taking the organ to pieces? It would be no great loss.
