St Saviours Episcopal Church, Bridge of Allan
This traditional drawstop organ of 25 ranks replaced an ageing Victorian instrument of similar size. Having seen a number of other digital organs the church authorities agreed that Wyvern offered by far the most convincing pipe alternative. This traditional drawstop organ of just twenty-eight ranks is complemented with a generous audio system. The project included re-modeling the pipe front. Since being completed in April 2006 the instrument has attracted widespread acclaim.
“I have just returned from another trip and have seen the organ in its completed state. It seems to be an excellent piece of work and we are all grateful for the care and attention that you gave us in bringing the project to this successful conclusion. The sound is excellent, well suited to the church and the appearance of your screen also suits the situation precisely as we had hoped.
We agreed in our earliest discussions to assist anyone in Scotland that might be considering a Wyvern and I confirm that this will be a pleasure should the occasion arise.
Many thanks again and best wishes,”
