St Mary’s Parish Church, Charlton Kings
With a large choir capable of singing music from a Cathedral repertoire, a versatile organ is required. When the organist, Neil Fortin, heard the Hook instrument, he was convinced that Wyvern could provide the right organ for this difficult building. The new organ has 42 speaking stops, housed in a drawstop console of slightly compact dimensions, in order to fit in a space beside the choir stalls. The large audio system is situated in the north transept and consists of twelve channels.
