St Lawrence Church, Chobham

Originally, the requirement was to supplement the Compton extension organ with digital ranks to give more flexibility, but this was ruled out by the Diocese. A change of Diocesan Advisor provided a different viewpoint and it was decided to replace the Compton completely. The new draw stop console features 34 speaking stops over three manuals, with all speakers housed in the old pipe chamber. The new organ offers considerable versatility when playing for services, festival concerts or solo performances.
