Wyvern 225DS/ST
OVERVIEW
The Wyvern 225 is specifically designed to recreate the sound and character of a small pipe organ, as found in many village churches, and to meet the needs of the smaller church, where a large specification is not required and could well prove counter-productive. The organ is totally traditional in all respects, with only the Swell under expression and stops arranged in conventional drawstop layout
There is a relatively small specification, yet every stop has been carefully chosen, beautifully voiced and is full of character. For example, a properly developed 8ft Diapason and maybe the 4ft Octave on a pipe organ would normally be ample to accompany the congregation. With some electronic organs, one might have to use several stops to get a less-effective result. Not so here – the emphasis is on quality not quantity and the realism is startling!
