St. Margarets Warnham,Sussex
The Sussex village of Warnham, still has the air of an estate village. There are two houses, Field Place, seat of the Shelleys (Percy Bysshe Shelley the poet was baptised in the church in 1792), and Warnham Court and the owners of both have left their mark on it.
The organ at Warnham is a large spec catering for many types of genre in the music world. We built the organ some thirty years ago and have since rebuilt it with WpX system. The Director of Music, Mark Brafield has been in post for 10 years and asked Wyvern to carry out upgrades, these included a sequencer/stepper system, revised pedalboard and voicing enhancements. Some new samples were also added to create that overall English sound which Wyvern Church organs are renowned for. A large 16ch audio system with both Nave and Choir speakers gives a true warm sound.
