Wyvern Toccata 346

Wyvern Toccata 346

The Wyvern Toccata is a truly versatile organ either for the church or the home of the more experienced player. This is a luxury three manual with 46 speaking stops all with traditional British voicing, plus a choice of three other specs: French, German, and Dutch. There is a comprehensive array of general and departmental thumb and toe pistons and now upgraded with an enhanced audio system with 8 channels and 20 speakers.

Detailed recordings have been made of individual stops taken from renowned pipe organs. Analysis of the sampled stops have enabled us to faithfully store the nature and timbre of the original in the organ memory. Powerful memories and dramatically faster processors allow swift data processing, creating a degree of realism hitherto thought impossible. Although the voicing is unashamedly British, an in built personal controller incorporates voicing tools that allow the organist to change the sound character to suit personal preferences.

The display also shows settings for transposer, piston memory, tuning and temperament, manual inversion and tremulant set up. There is also the ability to place the Pedal division under expression. Other voicing parameters include adjustments for pitch, wind noise, wind demand and regulation control for stop and individual note volume.

The Toccata has a high quality Shaker style console with understated good looks. The console is impressive with an abundance of solid oak including an oak roll top. The keyboards are a delight with a crisp upper touch. For home installations the organ has an integral audio system with eight channels and ten speakers on four planes.  The specification ranges from a 32 ft Pedal to a 5 rank Mixture – the sound is stunning.
